NHTSA: Tesla Recalls 63,600 Cybertrucks

Russia's Sputnik News, Moscow - According to a press release from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of the United States, the American electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla is recalling more than 63,600 Cybertruck electric pickup trucks due to a software malfunction.

The statement said: "Tesla is recalling certain 2024-2026 model year Cybertrucks... software issues... could cause the front turn signal lights to be too bright... thereby negatively affecting other drivers' vision."

According to the document, 63,619 vehicles should be recalled.

The press release stated that the company has released a free software update (OTA), and Tesla plans to send related notification emails on December 13.

Recently, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration also announced that Tesla recalled nearly 13,000 Model and Model Y electric vehicles due to battery faults.
