Kazakh products will enter the Chinese market through a cooperative model
Kazakhstan International News Agency - According to the news office of the Ministry of Trade and Integration, Kazakh products will enter the Chinese market through a bilateral cooperation model.
Kazakh producers are participating in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) held in Shanghai. The Center for Development of Trade Policy of the Ministry of Trade and Integration, QazTrade, highlighted the potential for cooperation between the two countries at this exhibition.
This year, Kazakhstan made its debut in four exhibition areas, namely the National Pavilion, the China Co-Op Exhibition Area, the Jiangsu SOHO Exhibition Area, as well as the newly established Almaty City Independent Pavilion.
In this context, QazTrade announced that it will establish a partnership with the China Co-Op, the largest cooperative chain system in China. It is expected that the first batch of honey, mare's milk wine, camel milk, and confectionery products will enter the Chinese market soon. The China Co-Op has more than 340,000 stores, with an annual turnover exceeding 7 trillion yuan.
At the Kazakh cooperative booth in Shanghai, more than 30 companies and cooperatives displayed various products. These include: QazExport Global, TOO GEOM, TOO OIL ECO, Prombaza-7, SHERSTNEV GROUP, IceMaster, Dinastiya Agro, Kokshetau Mineral Water JSC, MADI, Nauryz-5, Run Planet Organic, JAIN LLP, Danaker LLP, Mareven Food Tien Shan, Telli Kazakhstan LLP, NefisGroup Ltd., Industry of Semirechye, KAZAGRO-PRO LLP, KOMEK ASIA GROUP, Light Way Solution LLP, LWS Agro LLP, LWS Terminal LLP, and Baraka №1.
Aidymukhamed Aldazharov, General Manager of QazTrade, stated that entering the Chinese market through a cooperative model is a more stable and sustainable development path for Kazakh enterprises.
"In the long term, this will create conditions for enterprises to establish a stable export channel. We have completed joint market research with the Chinese side and sent out the first test products. The final determined key export directions include flour, vegetable oil, meat, honey, dairy products, and confectionery products," he said.
He added that a fast-track and training program is currently being launched to help Chinese enterprises enter the Kazakh and Central Asian markets. This mechanism will promote bilateral mutual benefits and lay the foundation for establishing a long-term and stable trade platform.
The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened in Shanghai, attracting participants from 155 countries and regions and more than 4,100 foreign companies, with over 449,000 professional visitors. According to the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, more than a hundred Kazakh companies participated this year, setting a record for participation in previous years.
