Eight Airports in Russia Suspend Operations Amid Airspace Safety Alert
The Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia reported that flight operations at eight cities’ airports were temporarily suspended between 22:41 on October 6 and 02:15 on October 7. The agency stated in its Telegram channel: “Restrictions have been implemented to ensure flight safety.”
Confirmed affected airports include Tambov (Tsentralny), Penza, Saratov (Gagarin), Cheboksary, Ulyanovsk (Bulatayevka), Samara (Kurumchi), Salinsk, and Kazan.
