Russian authorities have accused the Baltic states’ nationalists of assisting Nazi Germany, stating the action serves national interests.
The Tver Court in Moscow ruled that 13 nationalists from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, along with five associated organizations, acted as accomplices to Nazi Germany during World War II, committing crimes against humanity and war crimes.
Russian officials stated that this ruling aims to "preserve historical memory," "prevent historical distortion," and "protect Russia’s national interests."
