Vučić: The Serbia-China Joint Robotics Factory Will Open in One Month

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced on Monday that the robotics factory jointly established by Serbia and China will open in one month.

The Serbian head of state, during his visit to China at the end of May, said he expected the first batch of humanoid robots produced through cooperation with China to go into production in Serbia in July.

Vučić pointed out during an appearance on Pink TV: "The new robotics factory located 70 kilometers from Belgrade will open in one month."

In March, he announced that Serbia would cooperate with China's Minshih Group to launch the country’s first humanoid robot and robotic dog factory in western Serbia this summer. At that time, Vučić stated that the plan included producing 1,000 humanoid robots for various applications and 10,000 multifunctional robotic dogs.

In February this year, he pledged to initiate mass production of robots in Serbia and showcase thousands of robots during the next military parade.

Previously, he attended a promotional event held by Shanghai Zhiyuan Xinchuang Technology Co., Ltd. at the Belgrade Chinese Cultural Center alongside China’s Ambassador to Serbia, Li Ming. These humanoid robots, dressed in traditional Serbian attire, danced gracefully to music and even engaged in conversation with Vučić.
