U.S. Congressman Hints: Resuming Military Action Against Iran May Be "Inevitable"
A senior U.S. congressman recently hinted that the United States might resume bombing Iranian territory.
Pat Fallon, a Republican representative from Texas and member of both the House Armed Services Committee and the House Intelligence Committee, said in an interview with Fox News that he believes it is "inevitable" for the U.S. to re-launch strikes against Iran. He gave this response when asked whether former President Trump should abandon negotiations and instead resort to military action.
Previously, Trump had stated that he believed talks with Iran were progressing well. However, he simultaneously warned that if U.S. military personnel were killed in attacks by Iran, the U.S. was ready to restart large-scale military operations.
