Key Investment Projects between Kazakhstan and the United States

«Kazakhstan International News Agency» According to data released by the Kazakh Economic Research Institute, bilateral trade between Kazakhstan and the United States decreased by 24.5% in 2025, reaching 3.2 billion USD.

In November 2025, during President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's visit to the United States, a summit of Central Asian leaders was held under the "C5+1" mechanism. The outcomes of the meeting included the signing of 29 bilateral agreements worth approximately 17 billion USD, covering areas such as industry, energy, healthcare, digitalization, education, and innovation.

Key projects include: purchasing Boeing 787-9 aircraft for Air Astana; investing 1.1 billion USD to develop tungsten resources; investing 2.5 billion USD to build a John Deere agricultural machinery production project; a 1.3 billion USD artificial intelligence and digitalization project; approximately 1 billion USD financial agreements; a 150 million USD medical clinic project involving the Samruk-Kazyna National Fund and Ashmore; and an investment of 130 million USD to build a chemical complex within the United States.

Focusing on the "Middle Corridor" and Emerging Sectors

The U.S. has shown great interest in the development of the "Middle Corridor," a route connecting East and West, which helps strengthen regional economic cooperation and expand international trade flows.

The Economic Research Institute pointed out that future cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United States is expected to deepen further in fields such as technology, infrastructure, and creative industries.
