Oracle will participate in the construction of artificial intelligence infrastructure in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan International News Agency report: The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan and Oracle, a US company, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and cloud technology.

According to the memorandum, both parties plan to jointly assess the feasibility of deploying Oracle's pilot artificial intelligence infrastructure within Kazakhstan, conduct relevant tests, and explore the potential for building cloud computing data centers in phases. At the same time, they will also consider implementing pilot projects based on applied artificial intelligence.

Under the framework of cooperation, both sides consider developing training and certification programs to enhance the potential of professional talents, promote joint research projects, and explore the possibility of establishing an Oracle capability center in Kazakhstan. Both sides also plan to establish a regular dialogue mechanism on regulatory and ethical issues related to the development of artificial intelligence.

Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhusupbek Madiyev stated that this cooperation will inject new momentum into the construction of artificial intelligence infrastructure and the development of the digital ecosystem in Kazakhstan.

Allison O'Brien, Senior Director of Oracle Company responsible for public sector affairs, emphasized that the company is willing to support Kazakhstan in implementing its national artificial intelligence strategy.

According to previous reports, the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan, Joby Aero, Inc. from the United States, Alatau Advance Air Group Ltd., and entrepreneur Vyacheslav Kim signed a Memorandum of Understanding, planning to build an aerial taxi system in Almaty city.
