Media: Pentagon Prepares List of Targets in Iran
Western media, citing informed sources, reported that the Pentagon has already drawn up a list of targets in Iran in case President Donald Trump orders the resumption of attacks against Iran.
The report stated, "The Pentagon has developed a series of military target plans in anticipation of Trump ultimately deciding to approve new strike operations."
The report noted that the Pentagon is considering targeting Iran's energy facilities and infrastructure.
It was reported that after returning from China on Sunday, Trump discussed next steps regarding Tehran with senior government officials. The meeting took place at his golf club in Virginia, attended by Vice President Vance, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff.
The report did not disclose specific details of the meeting but noted that Trump expressed disappointment over the ongoing blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and its impact on global oil prices.
