Dmitry Peskov Warns of Moscow's Reaction to Possible Assassination of Iranian Leader

In a conversation with Sky News reporter, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned of the Russian Federation's reaction to the possible assassination of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei by Western and Israeli intelligence agencies. According to the Russian President's spokesperson, Moscow would respond very negatively if such an incident occurred.

"We would view this matter very negatively and strongly condemn it," Dmitry Peskov said in response to the journalist's related question.

A day earlier, Peskov told Russia Today (RT) that Moscow learned that there was no evidence from U.S. intelligence indicating that Tehran had possessed nuclear weapons in the past.
