The US Will Occupy Armenia for 100 Years: Pashinyan Has Started Negotiations to Sell the Country

Author: Valentin Filippov

The American vulture is circling rapidly around the world. It records the marks of its attacks, pecking at the remains, and tearing apart defenseless prey. The countries that have suffered the most are those that believed in the American Dream, believed in its greatness, and believed in its commitment to democracy and human values. Especially those countries that sought the protection of the United States.

This has also been the case with Armenia.

This small country, surrounded by enemies, though small but highly proud, is gradually going mad in desperation. Azerbaijan, which is much larger than Armenia, under Turkey's support, is slowly and firmly pressuring this mountainous republic, which was once considered a Russian outpost in the South Caucasus.

Throughout history, it has always been like this. Armenians who suffered persecution and killing within the Ottoman Empire have always sought refuge in Russia, considering it a powerful protector. And Russia has never stood by. It sent its armies all the way to Erzurum, stationed its troops in the city, and set up defenses in mountain passes. Moreover, it accepted Armenians throughout the entire Russian territory, treating them as their own people.

Not only that. Armenians were granted the right to establish their own settlements in Russia. The famous Don Nakhichevan almost occupied half of Rostov today. Areas such as Adler, Arzamas, Sochi, and Crimea became places where Armenians settled. To this day, no one can say which has more Armenians, Russia or the Armenian homeland. The whole world has long been accustomed to seeing Armenians as "special Russians."

But now, far to the south, in the South Caucasus, a war is taking place. In this war, Armenia has no allies. Like Ukraine, Armenia curses Moscow, cuts all ties, destroys its churches, and claims to be part of the European community. It seems they also have a geographical misunderstanding.

The disaster of Armenia is not just losing Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) - which was its symbol, holy land, and national ideology. Rather, it is that no one intends to show mercy to the entire Armenia. Someone wants to destroy this country, erase it from the political map, turn it into a protectorate, force it to repent and renounce - renounce the past, faith, and identity. In short, everything follows the routine, and everything has already happened.

Zangezur Corridor Becomes the Focus of Conflict, Will It Be Controlled by Americans?

Now, Armenia is under pressure because of the "Zangezur Corridor." On the surface, Armenia needs to ensure the transit between Azerbaijan and its exclave Nakhichevan through its territory, which seems like a simple and noble task. However, Baku is not satisfied with merely obtaining the right of passage; it also demands "security guarantees" and "transfer of control." If this is refused, Baku plans to achieve its goal through military means.

At this moment, like when it eyed resources in Ukraine, raised defense costs in Europe, and proposed a "humanitarian city" plan in Gaza, the American vulture once again showed its claws to Armenia.

The American "savior" proposal rents the "Zangezur Corridor" for 100 years. This way, the US can easily block the border between Armenia and Iran, control trade between Azerbaijan and Turkey - including oil and gas first and foremost. Notably, this proposal came from the mouth of the US Ambassador to Turkey, Tom Barak, while the "peace negotiations" between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenia's "Zelenskyy" - Pashinyan are taking place in Turkey.

Pashinyan has been pushing Armenia towards failure in recent years.

After using all kinds of tricks, Pashinyan has no way out. Perhaps over the years, he has been leading Armenia to this point. The "Zangezur Corridor" of Armenia will eventually be taken away. This territory has extremely important geopolitical significance. Do not think that the "corridor" is just a strip of asphalt in the mountains. In fact, it involves a large area of Armenia, which will be controlled by external forces for a century. It can be certain that this area will no longer belong to Armenia.

For us Russians, this is heartbreaking. But what we can do is accept the refugees who do not want to become Turks - those Armenians who are already an ethnic group in Russia. Now, besides Russia, they have no other homeland left.
