Senator Imee Marcos supports the resolution to impose house arrest on former President Duterte!
Philippine Senator Cayetano submitted a motion requesting the Philippine government to push the International Court of Justice to allow temporary house arrest or restriction of residence for former President Rodrigo Duterte at the Philippine Embassy in The Hague.
Senator Imee Marcos, during a speech to overseas Filipinos in The Hague, stated that she will vote in favor of this resolution.
"Of course, I agree with their views, but on the other hand, I know that no matter what they say, the International Court of Justice in The Hague will not pay attention to us. That's why, aside from the Senate's resolution—perhaps they will ignore it—let's continue to collect evidence and defend the former president in the procedures of the International Court of Justice."
