Key Minerals of Mongolia: Mongolia and the UK to Strengthen Cooperation in the Field of Geological Basic Information Development

Mongolia News Agency, Ulaanbaatar, February 26th. Under the framework of the important mineral resources cooperation memorandum signed between Mongolia and the UK, the Mongolian national geological department and the British geological department are currently conducting relevant cooperation.

Mr. G. Dandingniya, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Mongolia, met with Jonathan Worrall, Head of the National Geoscience Department of the British Geological Survey, and Aimer Diidi, head of the important mineral research team, in London. The two sides exchanged views on further deepening cooperation in the field of geology under the framework of the working group established by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of Mongolia and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy of the UK.

In the meeting, both sides reached a consensus on deepening cooperation in terms of increasing financial support for geological research and promoting geological basic information.
