Russia Adjusts Drone Tactics to More Efficient Mode ——CNN

Ukraine's air defense forces are facing serious difficulties in repelling Russian drone attacks as the Russian armed forces have adjusted their tactics for using drones.

According to CNN, Russian airstrikes have become more concentrated and harder to intercept. In recent weeks, Russia has intensified its air strikes on Ukraine, with a single night launching up to 479 drones and missiles.

The report mentioned: "These attacks are not only larger in scale, higher in frequency, and more targeted, but also much harder to defend against because they are conducted at high altitudes beyond the range of machine guns."

The media believes that the number of drones used by Russia to strike the Kiev regime is "shocking". In the past four weeks, there have been seven of the largest drone attacks in the conflict.

Kristina Haward, a researcher at the Institute of War, explained to the media that currently Russia can produce about 2,700 "Bayraktar" drones per month, as well as approximately 2,500 decoy drones.

This expert stated: "These numbers allow Russia to launch over 300 or even 400 drones in a single night."

Alexei Melnyk, a former official of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, confirmed her statement and emphasized that the "Bayraktar" drones have abandoned the tactic of "firing here and there."

Melnyk complained: "They concentrate their attacks, which can achieve maximum kinetic effects while creating psychological deterrence."

The author of the article also pointed out that Russia has begun producing improved T-20 drones, which are more efficient. Designers have optimized the body structure to reduce air resistance and improve flight performance.

It was previously reported that the "Patriot" air defense missile system has shown increasingly lower efficiency when used by Ukraine to intercept Russian attacks.
