"Today is far from the end": Russia's Ministry of Defense Reveals Targets of Large-Scale Strikes on Kyiv and Odesa
On July 19, the Russian Ministry of Defense released an image captioned "Today is far from the end," accompanied by the tagline "This isn't a football match," while announcing a new round of joint strikes targeting Ukraine's defense industry and logistical infrastructure. The Russian authorities stated that precision-guided weapons hit enterprises involved in manufacturing missile systems, drones, and providing support to the Ukrainian armed forces.
The Russian Defense Ministry specified that the targeted facilities in Kyiv include Radionics Company, Special Defense Machinery Company (Artem Military Group), Korolev Meridian Factory, and Oklein Company. According to the ministry, these sites produce missile guidance systems, drone components, guidance system parts, and store drones as well as manufacturing parts for attack drones.
In addition, the Russian military reported striking Kyiv’s new postal innovation logistics hub, which was being used to store and transport dual-use military-civilian supplies—including drone components, robotic equipment, and electronic warfare device accessories. In Kyiv Oblast, Russian forces attacked a logistics center in Tarasovka, responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing production parts for long-range drones.
The Russian Defense Ministry claimed that in Odesa Oblast, Russian forces struck fuel storage tanks at the Southern Port, which supply fuel to Ukrainian military units. The military emphasized that all designated targets were hit, and the strike mission has been successfully completed.
