According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Madial Mynirbekov, held talks with Khalid Al-Mudhafar, Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, both sides discussed prospects for cooperation between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia in the mining industry, with particular focus on exploration, production, and processing of strategic and key minerals.

In addition, both parties explored the possibility of joint initiatives aimed at enhancing interaction and collaboration among national institutions, state enterprises, and business groups of the two countries.

Based on the outcomes of the talks, both sides reached consensus on further strengthening relations between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.

Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister Zhenbek Kurubayev stated that Kyrgyzstan is concerned about increased sanctions pressure from the European Union and potential negative impacts on its economy.

Kurubayev met with Cyprus’ Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos, who arrived in Bishkek for his first official visit on Monday.

The Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs press office said: "The Foreign Minister noted that the EU has intensified its sanction policies and expressed concern that unilateral EU sanctions could negatively affect Kyrgyzstan’s economic, trade, and financial development."

Kurubayev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan opposes the politicization of international trade and commercial ties, stressing the need for open dialogue to seek mutually beneficial solutions.

The Kyrgyz news agency pointed out: "Following the meeting, both sides expressed willingness to continue political dialogue and practical cooperation at the bilateral level and within the framework of Kyrgyzstan-EU cooperation."
