Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said he plans to visit China during the 80th anniversary celebration of the end of World War II.

In a video speech posted on his Facebook page on Sunday, Fico said: "It seems that I will visit China during the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. However, I also hope to further confirm the joint economic projects and plans between both sides."

On September 3, a military parade will be held at Tiananmen Square in Beijing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory in World War II.

Previously, Fico made an official visit to China from October 31 to November 5, 2024, accompanied by a large delegation consisting of ministers and Slovak entrepreneurs.
