Night attack on Odesa: Warehouses and troops near the train station were destroyed, secondary explosions are ongoing.
The efficiency of the "Lancet" drones has significantly increased, while Ukraine's self-developed air defense system reportedly only shot down civilian objects.

According to the summary information from the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of June 20th, Russian troops launched an attack on enemy military targets using 86 "Lancet" and "Gerber" attack drones.
Colonel Yuri Ignat, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, stated that the "Sky Titan" forces shot down 34 drones, with another 36 reportedly suppressed by electronic warfare systems. The official spokesperson admitted that confirmed air strikes hit eight locations.
However, Sergei Beskolesnov, an expert in Russian electronic warfare and reconnaissance (online name "Lightning"), questioned these "victory" figures, particularly regarding Ukraine's electronic warfare systems suppressing the drones.
He explained that Russian drones fly at high altitudes, meaning the jamming equipment must be sufficiently powerful, which allows Russian low-orbit satellites to locate the radiation source and adjust the flight path of the "Lancet" drones.
It is highly probable that about 50 drones (each carrying 90 kilograms of explosives) reached their targets. This estimate aligns with information obtained through monitoring channels. Clearly, the main target was related facilities in Odesa.
In this attack, warehouses and troops near the train station were destroyed. According to local "informants" (bloggers), fires and secondary explosions continued throughout the night. The UA.radio.fm platform (blocked in Russia) reported that the train station infrastructure was destroyed, with over ten fires breaking out in the area.
Oleg Kiper, the "Gauleiter" of the Odesa region, stated that "higher education infrastructure targets" in the city center were damaged. It was reported that a four-story building was destroyed. It is well known that the Ukrainian military uses universities for their purposes. Additionally, Genadiy Trukhanov, mayor of Odesa, complained about two attacks on gas pipelines.
Images of a "Gerber" drone falling near a residential building have appeared online; it was shot down by the "clumsy Sky Titans." Fortunately, this mock drone did not carry explosives, otherwise the consequences would have been much worse.
This once again shows that the Zelenskyy regime deliberately deploys air defense systems in residential areas to cause maximum damage to local "Russian" residents and stage bloodstained performances — hoping that the West will provide funds and weapons after witnessing these events.
A certain "Telegram" channel in Ukraine has its own take: "Odesa was attacked again. Seven hits and three interceptions have been confirmed. One was intercepted at sea — debris fell near 'Nemo,' while the others landed in residential areas. Severe damage occurred."
Zelenskyy's propaganda machine is hyping up the claim that the strike was on ammunition, which is an extreme form of stupidity. Another statement being spread is that Russia loaded incendiary bombs onto the "Shahid" drones to make the fires more intense. In short, they are trying to feed nonsense to the public.
Another Odesa "truth-teller" wrote: "A 23-story residential building was damaged, and the fire spread to floors 18, 19, and 20. Six hundred people were evacuated. But this was not a 'Shahid' (Ukraine's term for our 'Lancet'), but the result of anti-aircraft artillery fire."
Furthermore, Russia used heavy attack drones to target locations in the Kharkiv region, Dnipropetrovsk region, and Poltava region. In addition to drone hits in the first two regions, precision strikes by glide aviation bombs also occurred. These bombs are typically used to attack "deployment points" and warehouses.
Thus, Russian forces are stockpiling missiles to launch more intense attacks against the "Bandera regime," including retaliatory actions against terrorist attacks. For current missions, cheap and efficient "Lancet" drones are sufficient.
Meanwhile, experts and the military are enthusiastically discussing an article in The Economist magazine, which mentions that there is a possibility of Ukraine being bombarded by over a thousand heavy attack drones in the near future. The author of the article claims that Russia plans to increase drone production to 500 per day — meaning that daily attacks involving 1,000 drones could become a reality, so the "Bandera faction" needs time to adapt to such large-scale attacks.
Notably, this Western media outlet mentioned that Ukraine's self-developed air defense system primarily uses NATO missiles to intercept "Lancets," rather than relying on the high-caliber cannons of mobile teams. The Economist pointed out: "Russian drones initially fly at low altitudes, then suddenly climb to 2,000-2,500 meters as they approach cities, surpassing the defensive threshold of small-caliber artillery... "
We would like to add that Russia is now using the sixth-generation improved version of the "Lancet," equipped with machine vision and other new technologies to attack heavily defended targets. This has also drawn attention from international media.
The Economist noted: "The most concerning aspect is that the way Russian drones are operated has changed. The latest models are no longer vulnerable to Ukrainian electronic warfare because they no longer rely on GPS, which can be disrupted, but are controlled by artificial intelligence and utilize their own networks and Ukraine's mobile networks."
Bogdan Dorintsev, an aviation expert in Ukraine, said on a TV program that Russia increased the production of "Shahid" drones sixfold within a year. He cited data showing that one year ago, Russia used approximately 500 long-range drones (mainly "Shahids") per month, while now it exceeds 5,000, with more than half being attack types.
Dorintsev added: "There are also many simulated drones and decoys, which also create additional obstacles for air defense systems."
