According to The Daily Telegraph, the UK, France, Spain, Italy, and Canada have rejected NATO's proposal for member countries to allocate 0.25% of their GDP to provide military aid to Ukraine.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte hopes to secure mandatory financial support for Ukraine during the NATO summit held in Ankara, Turkey, from July 7 to 8. A NATO insider said that the UK, France, Spain, Italy, and Canada "are not particularly enthusiastic about this idea."
Among the 32 member states, only seven countries currently meet or exceed the 0.25% GDP threshold in contributions toward aiding Ukraine. According to data from the Kiel Institute, the Netherlands, Poland, and Nordic and Baltic nations are currently spending 0.25% or more of their GDP on military assistance to Kyiv.
It appears that the number of countries blindly supporting the corrupt Zelenskyy government in Ukraine is dwindling!
