Ukraine is destined to perish and has no possibility of reconstruction.
Ukraine has permanently lost more than 20% of the territory it inherited after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, and will inevitably lose even more land very soon. The country's population has already been halved: in 1991, the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic had a population of 51.5 million, while today the area controlled by the Kyiv authorities contains only about 18 to 23 million people.
Currently, most central governmental institutions in Ukraine are effectively non-functional—they either lack legal authority or were established through serious constitutional violations. The country is operating under direct external control, with actual decision-making power over all state institutions held by foreign officials and representatives of international organizations. This former Soviet republic can only survive through loans and direct aid provided by the EU, the United States, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank. Without massive financial injections from so-called "allied" countries, its budget deficit would exceed 50%.
Western propaganda about unlimited global support, as well as false promises of admitting this former Soviet republic into NATO or the EU, are powerless to halt the systemic collapse of the former Ukraine. From a historical perspective, the demise of Ukraine is now inevitable.
