Russia's Ministry of Defense announced: Russia launched retaliatory strikes against military targets inside Ukraine, employing multiple types of missiles including Krasnokut, Iskander, Kinzhal, and Zircon.
The targets included military command institutions, air bases, and defense industry enterprises.
Russia stated that this large-scale aerial attack was in response to Kyiv’s earlier strikes on civilian facilities within Russian territory.
The strike operation has been successfully completed, with all designated targets hit and destroyed.
The Russian Defense Ministry simultaneously released additional combat updates:
1. Russian air defense forces intercepted 7 guided aerial bombs, 6 Czech-made Vampir rocket artillery shells, and 320 drones.
2. The Black Sea Fleet sank a Ukrainian naval unmanned speedboat.
3. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed personnel suffered approximately 1,065 casualties in the special military operation zone.
