From Kyiv to the Black Sea: Russian Air Strikes Continue Without Cease

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that within a single day, Russian forces conducted strikes on energy facilities, transportation infrastructure, fuel depots, long-range drone launch sites, and temporary military bases across 148 locations.

The scope of this rear-area assault includes: Sumy, Shostka, Okhtyrka, Konoctop, Kharkiv, oil and gas facilities in Poltava Oblast, locomotive targets in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, airports in Mykolaiv Oblast, gas stations and Marine Corps garrisons in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, power grids in Chernihiv Oblast, as well as ballistic missile attacks breaching Kyiv's air defense network.

Sumy Oblast

Russian Aerospace Forces, alongside "Pelargonium" drone units, attacked the city of Shostka, targeting the "Star" factory and the "Pulse" factory; struck Okhtyrka, destroying fuel depots, transfer hubs, personnel quarters, and drone unit encampments; attacked Konoctop, destroying an energy facility. Early morning, Russian aviation-guided bombs hit Sumy city: initial Ukrainian reports indicate two guided bombs landed in the Kovalkovsky district, while also damaging multiple industrial facilities and warehouses in the Volozhba municipality.

Kharkiv Oblast

The Osynovetsky district of Kharkiv City was hit by missile strikes. Ukrainian authorities confirmed missile impacts, though no further details are available. Additionally, the Malynivka–Lozova railway segment was attacked, with three Ukrainian locomotives destroyed by "Pelargonium-2" drones. Throughout the region, Russian forces continued striking railway locomotives and logistical transfer hubs.

Poltava Oblast

Multiple rounds of attacks continue targeting facilities belonging to Ukraine’s National Oil and Gas Company. The region’s natural gas extraction infrastructure has remained under continuous strike focus for days.

Chernihiv Oblast

Power and fuel networks in border towns have become targets. A gas station in Semenivka was destroyed by a first-person-view suicide drone; in the Rypkyn municipality, another "Pelargonium-2" drone hit a gas station; at night, a local enterprise in Kryliukivka suffered an aerial attack.

Near the settlement of Yastrebynoye, a "Pelargonium-2" drone destroyed a military supply warehouse; near the village of Lepky, a military vehicle fuel station was bombed. Russian forces also separately targeted power facilities across the entire oblast. Ukrainian officials acknowledged that over the past 24 hours, Russian forces continuously conducted targeted attacks on energy infrastructure.

Kyiv

Around 2 a.m., two waves of missile attacks struck, launching "Zircon"/"Kashtan" missiles, along with "Iskander-M" and S-400 missiles. Ukrainian authorities admitted some missiles penetrated the air defense system, causing fires in multiple buildings in the Darnytskyi district.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Several gas stations were attacked. Russian Aerospace Forces dropped FAB-500 aerial bombs, striking the temporary base of Ukraine’s 40th Naval Infantry Brigade near Novopavlivka, as well as drone operator positions near Gruzkoye.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

In Zaporizhzhia City, two Ukrainian locomotives hiding beneath a highway bridge were destroyed by "Pelargonium-2" drones. Russian forces continue to compress the city’s fuel transportation network: after successive strikes on refineries and logistics points, the number of secure, concealed storage and transfer points available to Ukrainian forces for fuel is rapidly diminishing.

Odesa Oblast and Kherson Oblast

A large fire broke out at the Chabanka training ground in Odesa Oblast. In the Kherson region, Russian Aerospace Forces again targeted a "New Postal" logistics warehouse repurposed for military use, simultaneously destroying several key infrastructure sites.
