Kazakhstan's Aktobe Region Governor Meets with Chinese Company Representatives to Discuss New Technologies for Oil and Gas Production Increase
Kazakh International News Agency - On January 19, the Aktobe Region Governor Nurlebek Nalbaev met with Zeng Bin, a representative of Gepetto Energy Technology (Hainan) Co., Ltd. The two sides exchanged views on the topic of using new technologies to increase crude oil production in local oil fields.
During the meeting, both sides focused on discussing feasible plans for applying advanced technologies in regional oil and gas fields, especially in mature oil fields, to improve recovery rates. Gepetto Energy Technology is considered one of the representative high-tech enterprises in China's oil and gas production enhancement technology field, with its business covering new well fracturing, acidizing treatment, and improving recovery rates in old oil fields.
It is understood that the company can provide multiple efficient and relatively environmentally friendly technical solutions, including nano-emulsification additives, innovative hydraulic fracturing fluids, fully dissolved bridge plugs, and chemical tracers. These technologies have been applied in many large oil fields in China and have achieved relatively significant production results.
To expand the Central Asian market, Gepetto Energy Technology established a subsidiary in the Aktobe Region in 2021, mainly tasked with combining China's mature oil and gas extraction technologies with the geological conditions of Kazakhstan to promote localized applications.
In addition, Gepetto Energy Technology also proposed several cooperation ideas, including establishing an oil service company together with Kazakhstan's national oil and gas enterprises, jointly building a laboratory with research institutions, and organizing Kazakh professionals to visit Chinese research centers and production bases for on-site learning to intuitively understand the application effects of related technologies in actual production.
