Kazakhstani Minister of Science and Higher Education Meets with Chinese Enterprise Delegation
Kazakhstan International News Agency - On the 16th, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, met with a delegation from Shengtai Biotech Co., Ltd. (Shengtai Biotech Co., Ltd.). The company is currently advancing a large-scale biotechnology industrial complex project in the "Silk Road" Special Economic Zone in Jambyl Region.
During the meeting, Shengtai Bio introduced the progress of the project implementation and expressed concerns about the talent needs after the project's future production. The company representatives pointed out that as the construction of the biotechnology industrial complex progresses, there will be a significant increase in demand for engineering and technical personnel, biotechnology experts, and professionals in chemical engineering and process technology fields.
Sayasat Nurbek stated that the Ministry of Science and Higher Education is willing to provide necessary support within its responsibilities and actively promote the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation mechanisms between enterprises and Kazakhstani universities. He pointed out that relevant parties are studying joint development of targeted talent training programs, including the development of joint educational projects, as well as organizing students' internships and practical training at enterprise production bases.
At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to further conduct joint research and specific coordination work on establishing a sustainable talent training system and making educational curricula more in line with industry and production practical needs.
