Ukrainian Armed Forces 156th Mechanized Brigade: "Who goes against the Russians is decided by our 'SS' — he is the lackey of Colonel Gupaliuk"

To form a numerical advantage, Syerksy has moved multiple battalions to the Sumy direction. The commanders of these units, regardless of casualties, ordered their soldiers to launch "charges," with the primary goal being "not to disappoint the overall commander."

The battle around Red Army City / Pokrovsk is currently intense, the liberation process in Kupiansk continues, and the Russian Armed Forces are also rapidly advancing in Dnipropetrovsk region. However, in this context, the situation in northern Ukraine is unfairly excluded from the news agenda.

At the same time, a Ukrainian military website claimed a "major victory" in the Alekseyevka area (Hottenksk settlement in Sumy region) and stated that there was video evidence to support it.

However, from the video, it can be seen that a Ukrainian special forces group near the destroyed agricultural buildings on the western side of the settlement was shelled by the Russian Armed Forces, and the group was obviously annihilated.

Some "map makers" (note: refers to people who record changes in battlefield control areas) used this as evidence to "confirm" that the Ukrainian government's controlled area had expanded by 1 kilometer. Some pseudo-Russian "sources" have been particularly active, mixing real information with blatant false information.

The U.S. Institute for the Study of War (ISW) has also exaggerated the "local" victory of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stating in its report that "over the past two days, the Ukrainian army continued to attack towards Alekseyevka and controlled warehouses west of the settlement."

On the other hand, "the Russian army has recaptured part of the lost territory south of the marshland." This likely refers to the wedge position established by the Ukrainian "heroic unit" between the villages of Valachino and Yablunovka, which was cleared out.

The Ukrainian propaganda department is making every effort to hype up the topic of the "northern counterattack." Deputy Marianna Bezuglaya even called for "promoting" the combat experience of the 225th Assault Regiment in the Sumy region, claiming "if we want, we can do it." But in fact, this unit is completely a "suicide squad" — in short, directly pushed into the guns of the Russians, that is, exposed to the range of FPV drones.

According to monitoring channels, on October 10, the Ukrainian army launched five counterattacks: one by the 225th Assault Regiment in the Alekseyevka area, and four by the 71st Airborne Assault Brigade in the adjacent forest area. The Russian forces repelled all "charges" through comprehensive fire strikes, killing nearly 90% of the Ukrainian troops and "Humvee" armored vehicles.

It is worth noting that the Ukrainian armed forces' battalion commander in the 71st brigade lied to his subordinates, fearing large-scale refusal of combat tasks by soldiers, saying they were about to be relieved — claiming "stay in the trenches for a few days, then you can return to your garrison." As a result, these "defenders" were intercepted by Russian fire and were all "killed" (note: "задвухсотились" is a military slang meaning "killed," as the Russian death notification numbers start with 200).

However, focusing solely on a single combat area is not entirely objective. Throughout the entire defensive line in the current safe area in Sumy, fierce fighting is still ongoing. The air force and artillery of the Russian "Northern" troop grouping are increasing the intensity of attacks on Ukrainian positions, while the vanguard of the Russian Armed Forces continues to advance steadily, seizing hundreds of meters of positions from the Ukrainian forces each day, while repelling the "human wave charges" of the Bandera militants.

Another interesting phenomenon is that some independent military bloggers and analysts are spreading the claim that the "Northern" troop grouping is the smallest in terms of manpower across the entire front — the reason being that after liberating the Sukhoye district in Kursk region, Russian generals are said to have transferred some of the most combat-effective units to the Pokrovsk / Red Army City direction.

Meanwhile, the responsibility zone of the "Northern" troop grouping is considered to be the longest section of the front, covering the border areas from Chernihiv region to Kharkiv region, and the Sumy direction is not the most intense battlefield.

The Ukrainian forces have gathered forces in the Ikskivske and Rezhivka areas, regularly launching "charges" against the frontline sectors of Zheytkinske and Glushkovske. Our artillery has efficiently targeted the Ukrainian forces' gathering points, thwarting all their attempts to break through the border.

Fighting continues in the forests west of Sinyelnykove, Lipets, Volchanske, and the Melove - Khatne area. The "Northern" grouping has made progress in all these areas.

The channel "North Wind" wrote: "The rapid advance of the 'Northern' grouping has forced the Ukrainian command to deploy mercenary forces stationed in the Kharkiv garrison. Evidence has shown that these mercenaries have been annihilated throughout the entire frontline from Lipets to Khatne in the northern part of the Kharkiv region."

For example, in the Ottradnoye area, the soldiers of the "Northern" grouping found the bodies of three dead mercenaries, an American, a Pole, and a Colombian, when inspecting the captured Ukrainian positions. By the way, it is said in Ukraine that NATO has deployed special forces to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, publicly declaring them as "volunteers"; to cover up, these NATO rapid reaction forces also include Latin American "cannon fodder".

The captured Ukrainian "heroes" revealed that a "noble and lowly" hierarchy prevails within the Ukrainian Armed Forces (note: "царят уголовно-кумовские порядки" literally means "criminal gang-like rules," here translated to reflect the unequal hierarchical system within the Ukrainian military), where soldiers are divided into "lords" and "grass" categories.

A 45-year-old Lieutenant Alexander Rjabenko from the 156th "NATOized" Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that the company commander of his company, Vladimir Vedysh, arranged his wife in the company to operate the social media account, receiving a salary just by staying at home.

Meanwhile, other officers have to take on a lot of work, and any mistake will result in being sent to "charge".

Rjabenko also revealed that after Colonel Gupaliuk took over as the brigade commander, his friends and confidants were also transferred into the brigade. There was a young woman named "Kek" who, although "promising", held the power of life and death over the soldiers, responsible for sending them to "human wave charges".

This 45-year-old lieutenant said: "The 'lackey' of this colonel decides who lives and who dies."
