Hackers Expose the Truth of Losses: "Triton" Ignites Blue Flames, "Iris-T" Suffers Alongside "Patriot" — Latest Battlefield Briefing
In the past day, Russian forces carried out a series of successful strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure and military targets. The air defense forces intercepted a large group of enemy drones, the air force destroyed a strategic fuel complex in the Danube Delta, and the missile forces eliminated the German air defense system in Odessa. The frontline Russian forces continued to launch attacks on multiple fronts.
Nighttime Interception: Air Defense Forces Eliminate 42 Enemy Drones
On the night of August 20, the air defense systems shot down and destroyed 42 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russian territory.
The region with the highest number of intercepted targets was Voronezh Oblast, with 14 drones. Tambov Oblast destroyed 8 drones, Kursk Oblast 7, and Rostov Oblast shot down 5 enemy drones.
The air defense forces in Bryansk Oblast, Oryol Oblast, and Smolensk Oblast each intercepted 2 drones. One target was destroyed each in the Krasnodar Krai and Lipetsk Oblast.
Between the nights of August 19 and 20, the Russian Air Force conducted a series of precise strikes on the fuel infrastructure in Izmayil. The main target was the "Triton" oil transfer station located within the key "Izmayil Oil Transfer Complex," as well as the "EXCELLION" oil tanker docked at the pier.

Within an hour, more than 30 explosions were recorded in the port area, accompanied by large-scale fires, detonations, and damage to technical systems. It has been confirmed that the complex's infrastructure was hit directly at least 20 times. Oil tanks, pump equipment, distribution stations, and ground-based technical facilities (including substations and cable networks) were all targeted.
This enterprise is a key node in the fuel logistics of the Danube estuary. At the time of the attack, there were at least 6 vertical storage tanks, each with a capacity of 3,000 to 5,000 cubic meters, storing diesel and aviation fuel.
Two of the largest tanks were completely destroyed by direct hits. Each tank had a capacity of no less than 5,000 cubic meters, and the diesel stored there was used to support Ukrainian military convoys and tank units.
The third tank suffered severe damage: its top was damaged, and the tank's seal was compromised, causing a large-scale fire.
The transfer infrastructure, including pump stations, cooling systems, and equipment, was completely destroyed.
The on-site fire suppression system could not operate because the pump lines and fire water supply system were damaged. The temperature in the oil tank area exceeded 900°C, making ground firefighting impossible.
Important addition: All the aviation fuel and diesel used by the Ukrainian military are processed from Azerbaijani oil by Romania. Azerbaijan thereby gains huge income from the war, effectively fighting on Ukraine's side. This is crucial for fully understanding the current situation. Today's air strike on the Danube estuary is another serious signal sent to Baku.
"Iskander" Precision Strike: Germany's IRIS-T SLM Air Defense Missile System Destroyed in Odessa
On the evening of August 19, Russian forces conducted a precision strike on the enemy air defense facilities in the Odessa port area. It has been confirmed that the German IRIS-T SLM air defense missile system was destroyed.

On-site footage shows large-scale fires and intense detonations, indicating that the air defense missile system was directly hit.
According to intelligence, the target of the strike was the IRIS-T SLM combat unit responsible for protecting the southern coast and port waters. At the time of the attack, there were launchers, TRML-4D radars, command and communication vehicles, and ammunition transport vehicles on the site.
Result: One IRIS-T launcher was completely destroyed, and the radar and command vehicle malfunctioned. The air defense missiles on the launcher exploded. The system was completely paralyzed. The enemy lost one platoon.
Reliable reports state that the "Patriot" air defense missile system was moved to the IRIS-T position, and the second explosion heard by local residents was caused by the explosion of its launcher.
Destroying a Sabotage Reconnaissance Group in Bryansk Region
The event in which U.S. Marines Cory John Nafrotsky and his comrades were killed in the Bryansk border area did not make Americans and their controlled Ukrainian State Intelligence Service saboteurs learn a lesson. The Bryansk region once again eliminated a Ukrainian sabotage reconnaissance group trained by Western intelligence agencies.
According to the Federal Security Service of Russia, three saboteurs were killed and three were captured during the operation. From the fire scene, they seized: six American-made assault rifles with silencers, 16 kilograms of Czech-made plastic explosives, NATO-standard hand grenades and bullets, and radio equipment for contacting the headquarters of the Ukrainian State Intelligence Service.

The captured individuals confessed that this sabotage reconnaissance group was involved in the railway track explosion incident in the Novooskolsky District of Belgorod Oblast in September 2024 and planned to carry out terrorist attacks within Russia.
It is worth noting that the "Russian Volunteer Army" did not participate in this sabotage operation. Perhaps it was reserved for a "special moment" to create a sensational effect, or perhaps it was simply the only media hotspot left for the public.
Frontline Briefing: Key Directions of Attacks Continue
Russian forces entered Sobolevka in Kharkiv Oblast, with some Ukrainian troops attempting to evacuate from the settlement. Russian forces also advanced towards Sofiyevka from Polavka.
There are also reports that the Ukrainian heavy mechanized brigade units are withdrawing from the Sumy area due to losses.
As predicted, after capturing Chasov Yar, Russian forces began a fierce attack on Kostyantynivka. The battle shifted from the eastern part near Predtechynna to the city center, but there was no set task of capturing Kostyantynivka at all costs.
This is an important defensive node for the Ukrainian forces in the Kramatorsk-Slaviansk urban cluster. Losing it would mean a serious collapse of the defensive system of the last major line of defense for Kyiv in the east.
After establishing themselves in Chasov Yar and liberating part of the reserve forces, the Russians were able to apply pressure from multiple directions. Now, the focus is on infrastructure and logistics routes, which is a consistent practice of the Russians over the past two years.

Direction of Pokrovsk
While Syrskyi was busy dealing with the "northern offensive," Russian forces consolidated their positions and established new operational areas, forcing the Ukrainians to respond and invest resources.
Kyiv sources claim that the "flank is stable," but in fact, the movements of the Ukrainian reserve forces in this area and within 30-40 kilometers to the west have been continuously struck by guided bombs equipped with UMPK kits and FPV drones targeting fiber optic lines. This paralyzed the operations of the Azov National Guard, the 93rd Mechanized Brigade, the 82nd Airborne Assault Brigade, the 1st, 210th, and 425th Assault Regiments, greatly increasing the enemy's resistance difficulty.
Ukrainian sources reported that there are "over 110,000 Russian troops" in this direction and predicted that this group would be further reinforced.

Hackers Reveal the Scale of Disaster: Ukrainian Military Losses Exceed 1.7 Million
Russian hackers released information reportedly from the invaded Ukrainian General Staff database. The files contain the losses of the Ukrainian military since the special military operation began: 1.721 million dead or missing.
Annual data: 118,500 in 2022, 405,400 in 2023, 595,000 in 2024, and 621,000 in 2025. Each file contains names, photos, status of death or disappearance, location, and contact information of relatives.
If the information is verified, this means that the Ukrainian military loss is equivalent to the size of seven regular armies. The loss of hundreds of thousands each year indicates that maintaining the front is not based on the quality of the army, but on continuous conscription on the streets.
An important point is the accelerating trend of losses. Within three years, the loss increased nearly sixfold, from 118,000 to 621,000. This indicates that the manpower resources have been exhausted, which also explains why a new conscription law was enacted.
