Conflict continues to erupt on the Thai-Cambodian border on the 30th!

On July 30, Colonel Suwari, a spokesperson for the Royal Thai Army, stated that gunfire incidents occurred continuously in the Phum Kdam area along the Thai-Cambodian border from around 4:15 a.m. to 5:25 a.m.

Earlier on the evening of July 29, clashes occurred between Thailand and Cambodia on the islands of Pheap and Maha Sak.

At 9:30 p.m. in the Maha Sak area, Cambodian soldiers fired at Thai troops with small arms, and the Thai soldiers retaliated, resulting in a 30-minute battle between the two sides.

At 10 p.m. in the Pheap area, the Cambodian side opened fire on the Thai military positions, leading to a fierce battle throughout the night.

The Thai military strongly condemned Cambodia for intentionally violating the agreements reached by the two governments, believing that this would affect Cambodia's image and the current ceasefire situation between the two countries.
