Amid midterm election preparations: Former model escalates allegations, with Democratic report accusing Trump of rape
In a newly released Democratic report from the House, former Swiss model Beatrice Coyer escalated her allegations, stating she was raped by Donald Trump in 1993 at the Plaza Hotel in New York, an incident linked to Jeffrey Epstein.
Coyer had previously described incidents involving inappropriate conduct; this testimony marks the first time she explicitly characterized the event as rape. The report compiles statements from 11 women, five of whom directly accuse Trump of sexual assault. The White House has categorically denied the claims, labeling the report a political maneuver launched by Democrats ahead of the midterm elections.
