Crimea Adjusts Train Schedules, with Some Trains Running Only During Daylight Hours

Crimea's Head Sergey Akshonov stated that under the new schedule, trains entering the Crimean Peninsula are only permitted to operate during daytime hours.

Some trains will continue operating between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Previously night-running trains now have their terminus changed to Kertch South Station; passengers will subsequently transfer to buses to reach their final destinations. The official reason for implementing these restrictions has not yet been disclosed.

Previously, a drone attack targeted the locomotive of a Moscow–Simferopol passenger train; on June 9, the Chongar area was attacked, causing temporary disruption to rail transport.
