Foreign media: China has completed the key landing and takeoff tests of its manned lunar module "Lanyue", which is an important step toward achieving manned lunar landing before 2030.
The test was conducted in Huaizhu County, Hebei Province. It used a large cable tower to simulate lunar gravity and meteorite craters to simulate the rugged lunar terrain, testing the system coordination of the "Lanyue" module, including the design of landing and ascent, control systems, engine shutdown, and the coordination of guidance, navigation, and propulsion systems.
This is the first time China has conducted a complete test of the landing and takeoff capabilities of a manned spacecraft on an extraterrestrial body, marking significant progress in China's manned lunar mission.
