Nétanyahou said at today's cabinet meeting that U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance called him while en route on the plane departing Pakistan after the U.S.-Iran negotiations failed to yield results, informing him about the status of the talks.

Nétanyahou said, "He gave me a detailed update on the progress of the negotiations, just as this government does every day."

Nétanyahou added, "There was explosive progress from the American side — they cannot tolerate Iran openly violating the agreement and entering negotiations. The agreement stipulated that Iran would cease hostilities and immediately open the strait."

Iran did not do so. The Americans could not accept this.

He also made it clear to me that the main concern of President Trump and the U.S. agenda is the removal of all (Iranian) enriched nuclear material, ensuring that Iran will not engage in enrichment activities for years to come — possibly spanning decades.

This is their priority, and naturally, it is also crucial for us."

The shift from merely "limiting" enrichment to a complete halt "for decades" marks a return to the toughest possible stance.

Nétanyahou described Vance’s briefing as similar to a routine daily report from a subordinate to a superior within the cabinet.

Good heavens, who exactly is Vance working for? America First?
