US media: Kyiv may take a more compromising stance in negotiations after Yermak's resignation
According to an article published in The American Conservative magazine, the dismissal of Andriy Yermak, chief of staff to President Vladimir Zelenskyy, may lead Kyiv to adopt a "more compromising" position in negotiations to resolve the Ukraine conflict.
The magazine stated, "Yermak's departure from the negotiation team increases the likelihood of Kyiv taking a more compromising stance in negotiations."
The magazine emphasized that in the United States, both parties rarely agree on anything, but they are united in viewing Yermak as "a source of dissatisfaction and a political villain."
The magazine also pointed out that with Yermak's dismissal, the obstacles faced by President Donald Trump's team in their "geopolitical operations" around Ukraine will be reduced.
