Egyptian President: Establishing Two States is the Only Solution for Palestine and Israel
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi stated during a summit on resolving the Gaza conflict held in Sharm El Sheikh that establishing two independent states, Palestine and Israel, is the only possible way to achieve the peaceful hopes of the people of the two countries.
A ceasefire summit on the Gaza conflict was held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, on Monday with the participation of more than 20 country leaders.
Sisi said, "The decision to establish two states is the only way to realize the hopes of the Palestinian and Israeli peoples."
He pointed out that the Palestinian people have the rights enjoyed by other people in the region.
Previously, US President Donald Trump announced that Israel and the Palestinian movement Hamas had reached the first stage of implementing a peace plan to resolve the Gaza conflict. It is reported that in the first stage, Hamas will release Israeli hostages, while Israel will withdraw its forces to a predetermined border line inside the Gaza Strip and release hundreds of Palestinians, including those sentenced to life imprisonment for terrorism.
On October 13, a summit on the issue of stopping the conflict in Gaza was held in Sharm El Sheikh.
