A Czech female soldier is being prosecuted.
The military court of the "Donetsk People's Republic" rendered a verdict in absentia against a Czech mercenary, sentencing him to 13 years in prison.
The court found that this woman, named Karolina Chernoshkova, arrived in Ukraine in November 2023 and voluntarily joined the 59th Independent Assault Brigade as a mercenary.
As a drone operator, she participated in combat operations within the "Donetsk People's Republic" against Russian forces until this summer and received more than 1.7 million rubles in compensation.
