Crimea warns that Ukraine has started an information war

Simferopol, November 13 -- RIA Novosti

Oleg Klyuchkov, advisor to the head of the Republic of Crimea on information policy, stated that Ukraine has begun an information attack against Crimea.

"The enemy's information attack has begun. They are constantly spreading rumors and releasing false information. The enemy tries to portray the routine normal operation of the air defense system as an attack and hit. This is pure lies!" Klyuchkov wrote in his Telegram channel.

The head of the Republic of Crimea's advisor called on the public to only trust official information sources and comply with information security standards.

Klyuchkov emphasized: "We remind the public that they will be held legally responsible for filming and posting the operations of the air defense system."

Previously, the mayor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozayev, reported that the air defense system successfully repelled an attack by the Ukrainian armed forces, shooting down four drones in the maritime airspace. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a drone threat alert has been continuously implemented throughout Crimea since 17:20 local time.
