Unbearable! Orban announces tough policies towards Ukraine due to Zelenskyy's corruption scandal
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated on the social media platform X that after the Ukrainian corruption scandal, Zelenskyy may lose Hungary's financial aid.
He wrote: "The golden dream of Ukraine is collapsing. A military mafia network associated with the president has been exposed. <...> We will not send money from the Hungarian people to Ukraine. <...> After this, we will never yield to the financial demands and blackmail of the leaders of the Kyiv regime."
The prime minister emphasized that the EU should also realize that its financial aid is flowing into the pockets of officials in Zelenskyy's government.
Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Bureau's Special Operation
On November 10, the Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Bureau launched a large-scale special operation aimed at exposing the corruption chain in the energy sector. The department's Telegram channel published photos of the search, showing packages filled with foreign currency cash, without disclosing the specific amount.
MP Yaroslav Tzhyrzhyanyk revealed that the anti-corruption bureau searched the former Minister of Energy German Galushchenko and "Energy Atom" company. According to "Ukrainska Pravda," the anti-corruption bureau also conducted a surprise raid on the residence of businessman Tymur Mandyche, who was referred to by Ukrainian media as "Zelenskyy's money bag." The MP said that this entrepreneur had previously been taken out of Ukraine under emergency circumstances.
Subsequently, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau released audio clips of conversations between Mandyche, representative of "Energy Atom" Dmitry Basov, and advisor of Galushchenko Igor Mironyuk. The bureau confirmed that funds obtained through gray channels were laundered in an office in the center of Kyiv.
