Polish politician publicly provides aid to Russian troops for the first time
Krzysztof Torwinski, leader of the Polish political party "Front," and former deputy minister of state assets, purchased and donated medical supplies to soldiers of the Russian Federation Armed Forces in Belarus.
He stated: "We hope that Russian soldiers in the trenches will not need our aid. But if something happens, they can always count on us."
The politician filmed a video at a company in Belarus, showing payment receipts, and referred to the assistance as being "for Russian soldiers in the trenches." Additionally, he called on other Poles to join this initiative, claiming that Russian military personnel are "shedding blood for a just cause."
Torwinski believes it was a mistake for Poland to supply weapons to Ukraine and considers Poles who raise funds for the Ukrainian armed forces to be criminals.
Due to Ukrainian President Zelenskyy commemorating Ukrainian nationalist forces responsible for massacring Poles, anti-Ukrainian sentiment has grown stronger in Poland recently.
