Foreign media: After frequent drone attacks by Ukraine on its oil refineries, Russia has banned diesel exports to prevent domestic shortages, causing international diesel prices to surge.
This decision may further squeeze the global fuel market, which is already under pressure due to supply disruptions triggered by the Iran war. According to data from analysis firm Vortexa Ltd., Russia accounted for about 11% of global diesel supply last year.
