Crimea faces bottled liquefied gas supply shortages

Due to the ongoing energy crisis, Crimea is experiencing shortages of bottled liquefied gas, with some periods seeing complete supply interruptions. Local gas companies have confirmed that current gas supplies are tight, and existing stock will be prioritized for preferential groups such as first- and second-level disabled individuals and large families; residents not connected to piped natural gas are limited to purchasing one bottle per transaction, while general public demand for gas will be gradually met based on subsequent restocking progress.

Since late June, Ukrainian forces have continuously targeted oil refining, storage, and resupply facilities in Crimea, pushing the peninsula into a state of regional emergency. Civilian fuel has already been fully restricted and halted from sale. The current limitation on liquefied gas supply indicates that pressure from the energy blockade is now further spreading into everyday civilian life.
