[Text/Observer Network, Zhang Jingjuan] The attack launched by Israel from within Iran has exacerbated concerns over the extent of infiltration by Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad.
According to a report on June 16 by CNN, Iran's Intelligence Ministry has called on the public to report suspicious activities and issued guidelines for identifying collaborators. In a statement, the ministry urged people to be wary of strangers wearing masks or goggles, driving pickup trucks, carrying large bags, or taking pictures around military, industrial, or residential areas.
In addition, Nour News, an Iranian news agency closely linked to Iran's security agencies, released a poster listing as suspects those "who wear masks, hats, and sunglasses even at night" and those who "frequently receive packages," and urged people to report "unusual sounds coming from houses, such as screams, metallic equipment noise, continuous knocking," as well as "houses that draw curtains even during the day."
The poster released by Iran's Fars News Agency, an official state media outlet, advised landlords who recently rented out their properties to immediately notify the police.
Meanwhile, journalists in Iran told CNN that they were prohibited from taking photos on the streets.
The report noted that Basij (a volunteer paramilitary force established by Iran's revolutionary leader Ayatollah Khomeini, part of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) has been deployed for nighttime patrols to enhance "monitoring."
On June 16, Ahmad-Reza Radan, commander of Iran's Police Force, urged "traitors" to surrender themselves in a video statement, implying that those who realize they have been "deceived by the enemy" may receive more lenient treatment and be respected, while those arrested will face "the same punishment as the Zionist enemies."
Mohseni Ejtehadi, head of Iran's judiciary, called for "swift" punishment for those accused of colluding with Israel.
He said, "Assuming we arrest those who collaborate with (Israel), under this state of war... we must quickly file charges and swiftly punish them."

Last Friday (June 13), Israel carried out a military strike against parts of Iran, killing Iranian military officials and nuclear experts.
CNN pointed out that before launching an unprecedented strike, Israel's spies had already taken action within enemy territory.
According to Israeli security officials, the Mossad had smuggled weapons into Iran before the strike and planned to use these weapons to internally attack Iran's defense systems.
Officials stated that Israel had established a base in Iran for launching explosive drones, which were later used to attack missile launchers near Tehran. Precision-strike weapons were also smuggled in to destroy surface-to-air missile systems, clearing the way for Israel's Air Force to carry out over 100 strikes involving more than 200 aircraft early Friday morning.
It was reported that 28 people have been arrested and charged with espionage for Israel since June 13.
In the morning of June 16, Iran executed an agent working for Israel's intelligence and special operations agency, Mossad. This agent, named Ismail Fikri, provided sensitive confidential information to Iran's "enemies" and received compensation for it while collaborating with Mossad. Iran's security intelligence agency discovered Fikri's collaboration with Mossad through complex technical means and arrested him in December 2023. The move appeared to be a warning to potential collaborators.
In addition, Iran arrested dozens of people nationwide suspected of sharing articles online supporting the Zionist regime, accusing them of undermining "psychological social security." Among them, 60 people were arrested in Isfahan, where Israel claimed to have attacked nuclear facilities.
The conflict between Iran and Israel has entered its fifth day, with tensions still running high. Foreign ministers from 21 Arab and Islamic countries, including Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan, issued a joint statement on the evening of June 16, emphasizing that Israel must stop its hostile actions against Iran.
The statement noted that the current crisis cannot be resolved through military means. The only way to resolve regional crises is through diplomacy, dialogue, and adherence to the principles of good neighborliness, acting in accordance with international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
