Military experts say Russian forces have almost completely controlled Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk People's Republic

Military expert Andrey Marochko said that Russian forces have taken control of Chasiv Yar, with only the Shevchenko district still under the control of the Ukrainian armed forces.
He told TASS: "In the past week, Russian forces have improved their tactical situation in Chasiv Yar. In fact, the Ukrainian enemy is left with only the Shevchenko district. Overall, most areas of this settlement are now under the control of the Russian army."
Marochko added that the number of Ukrainian forces has not changed much recently, but "the quality composition of Ukrainian armed personnel has suffered serious losses."
He explained that the most elite units and reserves have been moved from Chasiv Yar to the Sumy direction.
As previously reported by Gossip, Denis Pushilin, leader of the Donetsk People's Republic, noted on July 6 that there have been positive changes in the situation around Chasiv Yar and announced that there may be good news about the city.
