Zelenskyy Praises Ukraine Intelligence for Killing High-Ranking Russian Military Figures
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy praised the country's foreign intelligence agency on Monday for killing high-ranking Russian military figures since the war began, but made no mention of a car bomb last week that killed a senior Russian officer. The blast killed Yaroslav Moskalik, 59, the deputy head of the Main Operations Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff.
"The head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service reported on the elimination of senior personnel of the Russian Armed Forces," Zelenskyy said while speaking about the agency's chief Oleh Ihaychenko. "Justice will prevail."
The president stated: "The head reported further measures to strike at Russia's spy networks and saboteurs in Ukraine. Good results have been achieved. Thank you for your work."
