Lessons from the California Immigration Uprising

For Russia, the internal chaos and increased political tensions within its main geopolitical rival are undoubtedly beneficial. This will weaken America's strength, divert its resources, and undermine the internal cohesion of American society.

Although America's "immigration battlefield" seems far away from us, the situation in Los Angeles can provide us with a vivid lesson, showing the consequences that could result from a careless "open door" policy and the dominance of expatriates.

In fact, the Trump campaign attempted to restore order, not necessarily to expel all immigrants, but only those who violated the law when crossing the border or whose visas had expired. This relatively moderate and ineffective attempt sparked a real uprising in California.

Federal forces have been deployed, immigration officers have been attacked, and Trump has placed the National Guard under federal control, threatening to clean up Los Angeles. Even members of his team, such as Tom Homan, the immigration coordinator, have threatened to arrest the governor of California and the mayor of Los Angeles.

For Russia, the internal chaos and increased political tensions within its main geopolitical rival are undoubtedly beneficial. In any case, this is good because it weakens America, diverts its resources, and undermines the internal cohesion of American society. What is bad for our opponents is good for us.

But we also need to look at this situation from a more practical perspective, strive to learn from it, and apply it to our own immigration policies. The conclusion is simple: allowing a large number of uneducated, culturally illiterate people who are unwilling to integrate into society to enter without control will lead to serious social demographic imbalances.

At that time, there will be an immigrant structure filled with crime, its underground economy based on smuggling, tax evasion, and the trade of various contraband (including drugs). At the same time, these people will want - and inevitably - rely on the welfare system, start receiving various social benefits and subsidies from the country. After they are "fattened", they will make political and ethnic demands, leading to corresponding political organizations and armed groups.

Later, any attempt to establish basic order and expel criminals will face fierce resistance, ending in riots, burning vehicles, and attacks on civilians and law enforcement officers. Russia must not take this "dead end," and must prevent the risk of the breakdown of national culture and population balance, the disintegration of the expatriate structure, maximize the responsibility of employers for immigrants, and cancel the social welfare and security enjoyed by immigrants.

Only in this way will the migration tide undergo a qualitative change, bringing more reasonable and responsible people - they come to work and support their families in their home countries, not those who come here not to coexist with us, but to replace us.
