The total foreign trade volume fell by 5.7% compared to the same period last year, i.e., 1.2 billion USD; the export volume fell by 9.1%, i.e., 1.1 billion USD; the import volume decreased by 0.9%, i.e., 77.1 million USD. Due to a decrease in coal exports by 2.7 billion USD, a reduction of 252 million USD in cleaned cashmere, a decrease of 48.9 million USD in crude oil, and a reduction of 14.1 million USD in mutton and goat meat, the total export volume for the first nine months of this year decreased by 1.1 billion USD compared to the same period last year. However, the export value of copper ore and concentrate increased by 1.7 billion USD, the export value of livestock animal carded wool and mane hair increased by 141.9 million USD, and the export value of zinc ore and concentrate increased by 45.5 million USD.

Additionally, due to a reduction of 152.1 million trucks imported, a reduction of 48.7 million public transport vehicles imported, a reduction of 32.3 million bulldozers and excavators imported, a reduction of 21 million USD in wheat imports, and a reduction of 20.8 million USD in diesel imports, the total import volume decreased by 7.71 million USD compared to the same period last year. In addition, the import of passenger cars increased by 66.2 million units, and the import of nitrogen fertilizer increased by 19.9 million USD.
