Iran Accuses of Violating Ceasefire Agreement

Tehran, May 8 — TASS

Ibrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran's Central Military Command "Hatam-e-Abvab," stated that the United States has violated the ceasefire agreement by launching attacks on multiple regions in Iran and targeting two vessels.

Iran National Radio and Television quoted Zolfaghari as saying: "The U.S. aggressors attacked an Iranian oil tanker sailing from Iran's Jask coastal area toward the Strait of Hormuz, as well as another vessel en route into the Strait of Hormuz—this action breaches the ceasefire agreement."

The military official added: "Meanwhile, they have also collaborated with certain regional countries to launch airstrikes on multiple peaceful areas—including the shores of Khamir Port, the city of Sirik, and Qeshm Island."
