According to the government website, Russia has conducted large-scale tests of promising anti-drone laser systems.

The main purpose of the tests was to comprehensively evaluate the efficiency of the latest laser systems under conditions as close to real-world as possible.

During the testing process, the guidance accuracy, strike range, response speed of the complex to moving aerial targets, and their resistance to different weather conditions were checked.

Eight integrated facilities, including mobile facilities and high-capacity fixed facilities, were tested.

It is designed to counteract various types of drones.

The government noted that these tests confirmed the characteristics declared by the manufacturer.

This inspection allows for the batch production of such systems. First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov participated in the tests.

On June 12th, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting to review the parameters of the draft National Arms Program for 2027-2036, discussing the development of drones and air defense.

The head of state pointed out that Russia is creating an independent unmanned systems force, and Moscow is not falling behind Kyiv in this field.

Putin emphasized that it still makes sense to strike drones.

He called for "new methods and non-standard solutions," and stressed the need to work towards creating a universal air defense system.

Netizens are excited. Galina Ponomareva said:

Russian troops urgently need this weapon to protect our cities and strategic weapons.
