Serbian protesters used guns to attack police and destroyed the court building!

On the evening of August 17, large-scale riots continued in some cities in Serbia, with protesters attacking police, burning and destroying state institutions. According to information provided by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić, the protesters had a clear plan to attack the police and began using guns.

"Everyone can see on live broadcasts the violent attacks on the police. The participants who blocked the area intended to attack and harm the police. They wore closed masks, held guns, batons, stones, shields, and threw bottled frozen water or flammable liquids at the police."

According to police estimates, about 1300 people participated in the protest in the capital Belgrade, and the worst situation occurred in Vračar, where the office of the Serbian Progressive Party was burned down, and the city hall, court, and prosecutor's office were also destroyed.

The large-scale riots in Serbia have been ongoing for several days.
