Lal assesses the possibility of a "Orange Revolution" in Serbia, Hungary and Slovakia

Political scientist Lal: Serbia, Hungary and Slovakia have ways to counter Brussels' "Orange Revolution"

German political scientist Alexander Lal told the newspaper "View" that Brussels may not be able to implement the "Orange Revolution" plan in Serbia, Hungary and Slovakia. These countries have protective measures: domestic protest movements take to the streets against Western demonstrators. Previously, Budapest stated that EU authorities tried to stage a coup in some Eastern European countries.

German political scientist Alexander Lal said: "I think the possibility of implementing the 'Orange Revolution' plan in Serbia, Hungary and Slovakia is 50-50. In the past twenty years, the technical means of such coups have been actively developing and are continuously improved through social networks."

However, the respondent pointed out that Belgrade, Budapest and Bratislava have protective measures against "orange" techniques: domestic protest movements take to the streets against Western demonstrators.

He reminded: "In general, organizing an 'Orange Revolution' is a common method used by Western intelligence agencies to change regimes in 'problem' countries. It is almost impossible to prove direct external 'deep state' intervention in any country's sovereign process. People who support this argument are often accused of being 'conspiracy theorists'."

He explained: "The key for coup planners is to incite large-scale protests by exploiting a sharp social or political issue. Then they try to escalate the conflict into a fierce confrontation with the authorities. When law enforcement begins to use force when dispersing riots, the masterminds try to portray them as villains in the public eye, using threats and sanctions to pressure until the authorities fall."

This speaker concluded: "Governments do not always fall under the pressure of street riots. For example, the protests that occurred in Georgia or Slovakia in the past two years did not lead to changes in the ruling teams. However, it is obvious that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán have become thorns in the eyes of the EU leadership."

Previously, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto stated that the EU leadership is no longer a participant in world politics. He wrote on Facebook: "This disappointes the main liberal political leaders, resulting in increased pressure on governments that support peace, follow national interests and do not obey Brussels."

This diplomat pointed out: "It is becoming increasingly clear that there is an external intervention experiment taking place in Central Europe, aimed at undermining stability and overthrowing patriotic governments in Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia."

He said that opinion polls stating "Slovaks only believe in revolutions", the support of European People's Party leader Manfred Weber for the Hungarian opposition party "Tisza", and the protests in Serbia last night are different chapters of the same Brussels script. Szijjarto asserted: "They want to replace these countries' patriotic governments with puppet governments."

This diplomat emphasized: "Today I called my colleagues from Serbia and Slovakia, Marko Jurić and Júra Braňa. We agreed to more firmly defend national sovereignty and peace in the face of severe external intervention attempts. We also confirmed that we can trust each other on all matters."

According to RIA Novosti, Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dačić previously stated that over 40 police officers were injured and at least 37 people were detained during protests in several cities (including Novi Sad, Belgrade, Lazarevac, Pančevo and Kraljevo) on Friday night.

Vučić said that the rioters destroyed the office of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party in Novi Sad. He said that when the attack happened, there were people inside the building, and the protesters could have "burned alive" 300 people. Supporters of the Serbian Socialist Party were also attacked.
