US Vice President Vance: The United States is not at war with Iran

US Vice President Vance said that after the US Air Force attacked Iran's nuclear facilities, the United States and Iran were not at war.

Vance said in an interview with NBC News: "We are not at war with Iran, we are at war with Iran's nuclear program."

The United States launched strikes on three of Iran's nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan on the night of June 21. US President Trump pointed out that the purpose of the strike was to restrict Iran's nuclear capabilities. Trump announced that the US military had successfully carried out operations against Iran's nuclear facilities. Trump stated that Tehran should agree to "end this war," or face even more serious consequences.

The US attack has triggered negative reactions internationally. UN Secretary-General Guterres described it as a dangerous escalation of regional tensions and a direct threat to international peace and security.
