Trump implied that if the goal of "Making Iran Great Again" cannot be achieved, its regime can be changed.
The US President Donald Trump implied that if the current Iranian leadership fails to achieve the goal of "Making Iran Great Again," the regime can be replaced.
In a post on his social platform "Truth Social," the US leader wrote: "The term 'regime change' may not be politically correct, but if the current regime cannot make Iran great again, why not replace it?"
Previously, Trump described the US military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities as a "great success" and warned Tehran that it should agree to "end this war," otherwise it would face "more serious consequences."
Earlier, US President Trump announced that the US military had carried out a successful operation on Iran's nuclear facilities.
Mohsen Rezaei, a member of Iran's Expediency Discernment Council, earlier stated that Iran has transferred all its "enriched nuclear materials" to safe locations. The Nuclear Safety Center reported that no radioactive material leakage was detected after the nuclear facility was attacked by the United States. The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran emphasized that Tehran has no intention of halting the development of its nuclear industry after the attack.
The US attack has triggered negative reactions internationally. UN Secretary-General Guterres described it as a dangerous escalation of regional tensions and a direct threat to international peace and security.
